Dynamic Equivalent Theory and Cultural Translation

Cultural background differences are very important factors in translation.In translation,attention must always be paid to the cultural differences hidden in the words and phrases,which are closely related to the cultural backgrounds and the changes of life of a nationality.Dynamic equivalent translation theory target readers and the original readers can access to the same or similar basic information.This paper offers suggestions to bridge the cultural gaps.Methods of treating cultural factors in translation are given to faithfully transfer the cultural information from the source language to the target language by using Dynamic equivalence.
