宋元时期广西文化教育发展的比较研究

宋、元两代,广西文化教育的发展呈明显的落差现象.宋代是广西文教发展的兴盛期,科举考试、学校与书院教育取得较大进展,这跟当时政治、经济与文化的空前发展分不开.元代是广西文教发展的中衰期,科举不盛,学校与书院教育处于近乎停滞的状态,这与当朝的民族歧视政策及广西地区社会局势的动荡不无关系.尽管发展情况各异,宋元时期广西的文化教育在整个古代广西文化教育发展史上均应占有一席之地.

A Comparative Study of Cultural and Educational Development of Guangxi in the Song and Yuan Dynasties

There is great difference in cultural and educational development in Guangxi between the Song dynasty and the Yuan dynasty. In the Song dynasty, culture and education flourished-imperial civil examinations were held, schools and academy of classical learning were established, which is related to the unprecedented political and economical prosperity. In the Yuan dynasty, imperial civil examinations were not popular and schools and academies of classical learning stagnated, which is connected with the discrimination against minority nationalities and the turbulent situation in Guangxi. Despite the differences, culture and education in the Song and Yuan dynasties will have a niche in the history of cultural and educational development in Guangxi.
