董加耕事迹的发现与宣传

1961年5月,江苏省盐城地区农村青年董加耕放弃上大学的机会,自愿回乡务农。1962年8月8日的《新华日报》报道了他的事迹。此后,董加耕被中共江苏省委领导发现,并经由各级组织的培养、宣传而被树立为全国青年的先进典型。截至＂文革＂前,董加耕的事迹有一个被发现、宣传的过程,媒体在宣传过程中起了巨大作用。考察董加耕及其事迹被发现、宣传的过程,可以发现这一过程在国家形势的需要、领导机关的培养方式、董加耕的个人思想品质三方面留下了一些可资借鉴的经验。

The Discovery and Publicity of Dong Jiageng's Story

In May 1961,Dong Jiageng,a rural youth of Yancheng city,Jiangsu province,gave up the opportunity to go to university and returned home for farming voluntarily. On August 8,1962,Xinhua Daily reported his story. Afterwards,Dong was first found by the leadership of the CPC Jiangsu provincial committee,and then cultivated,publicized and set up as an advanced model of youth by organizations at all levels. Before the Cultural Revolution broke out,media propaganda played a huge role in discovering and publicizing Dong＇s story. Studying this process,we find that we can draw lessons from three aspects：the needs of the national situation,the training methods of leading authority and Dong＇s ideological quality.
