中美传播学引用文献比较——基于2006～2010年期刊论文的引文分析

中美传播学都广泛引用其他学科文献,但美国传播学更倾向于引用心理学、社会学和政治学三大传统社会科学,而中国传播学在引用社会学和政治学这两大社会科学的同时也借鉴语言与文学、历史和哲学这三个人文学科;中国传播学更倾向于引用"有现时作用的文献",而美国传播学更倾向于引用"档案性文献",同时中国的传播学文献的老化速度要远远高于美国。图书和期刊是中美传播学最为主要的引用文献载体,但中国传播学偏向于引用图书,而美国传播学偏向于引用期刊。英文文献在美国传播学引用文献中占绝对主导地位,中国传播学在大量引用中文文献的同时也较多地引用英文文献。

A Comparative Study of Communications Citations Between China and U.S.A: An Analysis of Citations in Academic Journal Papers From 2006 to 2010

Based on a citation analysis of the papers published in academic journals from 2006 to 2010,this papers aims at finding out what differences exist in citations between communications study in China and USA in terms of disciplines,publication years,publication types and languages.By a statistical analysis,we find: 1) Both Chinese and American communications studies cite quite a lot of other disciplines,but American studies incline to cite psychology,sociology and political science while Chinese studies incline to cite language and literature,history and philosophy;2) Chinese communications studies cite publications published in the past five years,while American studies cite publications published more than 10 years ago;3) both monographs and journals are major references for Chinese and American communications studies,bu Chinese communications scholars prefer monographs to journals while their American counterparts prefer journals to monographs;4) American communications studies cite mostly English publications,while Chinese communications studies cite more Chinese publications than English ones.
