| 摘 要： | 中国近代科技不够发达是个不容置疑的事实,原因当然是多方面的。作者认为直接的原因是中国人长期缺乏科学精神,而自古以来的尊老文化传统在很大程度上直接导致了中国人科学精神的缺乏。作者通过分析尊老文化传统的内容与种种表现,进而考察了其对科学精神的培养产生的负面影响。

| Abstract: | It is an unassailable fact that science and technology is undeveloped in modern China. There are various causes for this problem. The authors consider that the direct cause is Chinese people are short of scientific spirit for a long time. The cultural tradition of respecting the olds resulted in the lack. The authors analyses the contents and various behaves of cultural tradition of respecting the olds, then studies the negative effects on the fostering of science spirit. |
