浅析高校英语角建设的现状及对策

英语角使学生摆脱传统英语教学的束缚,与外籍教师、留学生和中国英语教师面对面交流,锻炼英语口语水平,提高英语实际运用能力,开拓跨文化交际视野,在建立之初广受欢迎。但由于组织及内容等问题,英语角逐渐走向衰落。本文拟分析高校英语角建设所处的现状,并就相应问题提出建设性对策。

Analysis on Current Situation and Countermeasures of Construction of College English Corner

English Corner enjoyed great popularity at the beginning of its establishment for the reason that it enables students to get rid of the constraint of the traditional English teaching, communicate with foreign teachers, students and Chinese English teachers face to face, practice their spoken English, improve their practical English proficiency and develop cross-cultural communication perspective. Due to the issues such as organization and content, however, English Corner is gradually declining. This paper aims at analyzing the current situation of the construction of college English Corner, and putting forward corresponding constructive countermeasures.
