浅析美国黑人民权运动的兴起

美国黑人自 1 61 9年踏上美洲大陆这片土地以来 ,就长期受到歧视、压制与迫害。黑人问题便成为美国民主政治中长期得不到合理的解决的问题之一。虽然美国南北战争结束后 ,黑人通过重建获得了公民权和法律上的平等。但这种平等只是一种口头上的承诺 ,在现实生活中 ,黑人一直受到事实上的歧视与隔离。二战后 ,由于美国社会与经济的发展变化 ,黑人的社会地位不断提高 ,种族意识不断觉醒 ,迫切希望获得平等权利。终于在 2 0世纪 50年代末 60年代初爆发了声势浩大的黑人民权运动。黑人民权运动的兴起既是历史发展的必然 ,也是由二战后的一些现实因素促成的。

On the Reasons for the Rise of the Civil Rights Movement in America

American negroes have been discriminated, suppressed and persecuted since they were carried to America. As one of the problems in American democracy, Negro problem couldn't be resolved properly for a long time. Although American negroes acquired the equal civil rights and jural equality by the reconstruction at the end of the American Civil War, this kind of rights is just a promise on the blob. In fact, American negroes were discriminated and segregated in real life. After the Second World War, with the development of American society and economy, the social situation of negroes continuously heightened, the race consciousness waked up continuously, and they urgently hoped to acquire equal rights. At last, the civil rights movement broke out between the end of 1950s and the beginning of the 1960s in America. The rise of the civil rights movement in America is both historical and realistic.
