| Abstract: | In recent years, the appraisements on Chili's novel vary in cultural circles, while her concern about the life of common urban people is identified abroadly. However, by carefully studying the social and cultural nucleus in her novel, we can find that she reconstructs a female world with independent consciousness in the representation of awakening, breakout and maturation of contemporary Chinese women from her unique angle of view. |
