As one of typical Chinese schools, pragmatic aesthetics is the outcome of Chinese cultural and psychological structures. Its rise and vitality in China has its historical and realistic causes. The representatives succeed the remainder of Chinese cultural tradition. Their research angle of view from outside, their inclination of valuating and moralizing the practical aesthetics, and their definition of " human as social and colonial, have an inherent association with Chinese cultural tradition.
