美国大学学术自由的历史演变与特色

摘    要:美国学术自由思想是学习和借鉴德国学术自由理念的结果。德国学术自由思想经过美国大学的选择和创新,已经发生了很多变化。不仅美国大学学术自由的基础不同,大学教师所享有校内自由和校外自由的程度不同,而且美国大学的教学自由与学习自由是分离的,从而形成了美国不同于德国的学术自由思想。

Abstract:The thoughts of academic freedom in American universities were the results of studying the ideas of academic freedom in German universities in 19th centure.The ideas of academic freedom in German universities had been greatly changed after being selected and modified by American universities.The thoughts of academic freedom in American universities were different from those of German universities not only in the bases of academic freedom,and the degrees of freedom enjoying by teachers within the universities or without universities,but also in the separation between the freedom of teaching and learning.
