摘    要:语篇理解不仅是一种言语交际活动,也是作者与读者之间复杂的心理交际过程。文章基于关联理论,阐述了认知语境的概念,探讨了认知语境与语篇理解的关系,揭示了语篇理解的过程是一种认知一推理、寻求最佳关联的动态交际过程。同时进一步分析了认知语境对语篇理解所起的制约、解释功能。进而说明言语交际双方认知语境的关联度对准确理解语篇的深层含义具有十分重要的意义。

Abstract:Text understanding is not only an activity of speech communication, but a complicated process of psychological interaction between the writer and readers. Based on the Relevance Theory, the article explains the concept of cognitive context, exploring the relation between cognitive context and text understanding, revealing that reading comprehension is a dynamic process of cognitive-inference and also a process of seeking optimal-relevance. And the article further analyzes that cognitive context plays the functions of restriction and explanation in reading comprehension. Furthermore, it shows that overlapping degree of cognitive environment between producer's and receptor's discourse plays a very important role in correctly understanding the potential meanings of the text.
