摘    要:在谢阁兰(Victor Segalen,1878~1919)的作品中,"中国"是最为重要而独特的主题之一.其散文集<画>(Peintures,1916),以真实或虚构的中国画和中国文献为素材,完成了著名的"中国幻象"(vision de la Chine)的塑造,体现了作者对于中国历史的独特理解,是实践其"异域情调论"(exotisme)的代表作,也是法国读者了解中国文化的窗口.同时,这种来自法国作家的"异域情调"的冲击,促使中国读者从"他者"的角度,用陌生的眼光,重新审视中国文化.就此而言,对于中国读者来说,谢阁兰的"中国的幻象"也有着重要的意义.
