A NOTE ON MOMENTS OF PROGRESSIVELY TYPE II CENSORED ORDER STATISTICS

ABSTRACT

Upper and lower bounds for moments of progressively Type II censored order statistics in terms of moments of (progressively Type II censored) order statistics are derived. In particular, this yields conditions for the existence of moments of progressively Type II censored order statistics based on an absolutely continuous distribution function.
