| Abstract: | This paper discusses the current problems in college English teaching for non-English majors in China, studies the main principles and features of the recently reformed college English syllabus,analyses the hidden barri- ers in implementing the new syllabus and puts forwards the suggestions for Hebei University of Technology to inno- vate the course design,contents,methodology and assessment,according to the new national syllabus. |
