教师课堂语言的变化对学生第二语言发展的影响

教师课堂语言在组织课堂教学和语言习得过程中起着至关重要的作用,它既是目的语的来源,也是管理课堂的手段.文章过对大学英语教师课堂语言的长度、词汇量、句子类型、句式及反馈等方面进行分析,得出结论:教师过于简单的课堂语言不仅不能促进中继语的发展,反而阻碍他们的学习。学生所需要进一步提高的恰恰应当是他们现有第二语言贮备中所缺乏的,而简单化的输入却剥夺了他们接触高一级的、新的语言信息。

The Effect of Teachers' Classroom Language on Learners' Second Language Acquisition

Teachers' classroom language plays a very important role in organizing the class and the acquisition of a second language.An analysis of the length,vocabulary,type and the structure of a teacher's sentences indicates that sufficient information input should be passed to college students and a too simple language input deprives them of the access to new and important information.
