| Abstract: | Taboo and euphemism,which reflect traditional customs,religious believes and valuable viewpoint,extensively exist in each field of human lives.The author contrastively studies on differences of taboo and euphemism between west-countries and China from religion,race,privacy,four-letter-word,number,color and flower.Not only differences but also their sources have been illustrated.Thus different cultural differences can be understood and unnecessary communicative conflicts will be avoided.Meanwhile,communication will be promoted to be finished successfully. |
