A General Review of the Modern History of Chinese Literary Criticism

Being closely concerned with the social revolution, the modem history of Chinese literary criticism which extended through the medern age, could be divided into three periods: opening, integration and authority. As a whole, the options of the theory of Marxism, due to the pragmatic rationality, made the literary criticism follow an integrative pattern, and still have their effect in the contemporary age.
