浅析中餐写实性菜谱的英译

摘    要:中餐菜谱的一般命名方法有两种:写意性命名法和写实性命名法。写实性菜名通常由原料名称、烹制方法、菜肴的色香味形器、菜肴的创始人或发源地等构成,名称反映菜肴内容和特色。本文结合示例探讨了中餐菜谱,包括主菜、主食、小吃等的翻译方法。

Abstract:There are mainly two methods of naming menu in a Chinese meal: impressionistic and realistic.The realistic dishes are named by the names of raw materials,cooking,the color,fragrance,taste,shape,container,the originator and birthplace of the dishes and so on,which reflects the content and unique features of the dishes.In this paper,we will discuss the translating methods of Chinese dishes including main dishes,the staple food and snacks based on some samples.
