论农村党员的先进性与发展力

农村党员的先进性应主要体现在发展力上.党的十六届五中全会提出了"生产发展、生活宽裕、乡风文明、村容整洁、管理民主"的建设社会主义新农村的宏伟目标.这一目标,是新时期赋予农村党员的神圣使命.农村党员应成为社会主义新农村建设的先锋战士.要将农村党员培养成先锋战士,就必须把农村党员的发展力作为党员先进性建设的重要内容,将科技兴农作为提升其发展力的有效栽体,将培养科技带头人作为提升其发展力的具体途径.切实加强党员先进性建设,使农村党员真正体现先进性,在社会主义新农村建设中发挥先锋模范作用.
