王岱舆批评张中一说之质疑——兼论《证主默解》与《克里默解》的关系

Some Doubts about Wang Dai-yu's Criticism of Zhang Zhong On Relations between Stilly Explanation of Kalima Sahada and Explanation of Kalima

Stilly Explanation of Kalima sahada and Explanation of Kalima are two Islamic works published in south of Yangtze river at the turn of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The former became famous owing to Wang Daiyu＇ s criticism and the latter came known because of its translator being Zhang Zhong. However,some scholars hold it that the two works are actually one, and that Wang Dai-yu＇ s criticism of Stilly Explanation of Kalima sahada is a criticism of Explanation of Kalima, and a criticism of Zhang Zhong. It is their opinion that there existed some divergences of views and disputes among the Islamic school of south of Yangtze River at the turn of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and between Wang Daiyu and Zhang Zhong, We compare the thought and sentences of the two works, and come to the conclusion that the two works are not one , but two, written by two different authors. The supposition that there were disputes among the schools of south of Yangtze River is purely imaginable, lacking positive evidence.
