成人教育英语专业学习者翻译能力定级研究与翻译教学策略探讨

摘    要:对学习者翻译能力的定级研究有助于提高翻译教学的针对性和建立符合学习者特点的翻译教学模式。以西安外国语大学成人教育英语专业学习者为调查对象,采用问卷调查和样本分析实证研究手段,对学习者的翻译能力进行了定级研究。研究结果表明,成人教育英语专业学习者的读写能力影响了其翻译能力。在整体语言观照下的听、说、读、写、译"五会"并举法是切合成人教育英语专业学习者特点和需求的翻译教学模式,在对其分析的基础上论述了提高学习者读写能力和翻译能力的策略。

Abstract:The research of the developmental Stages of learners' translation competence helps to improve the effect of translation teaching, and establish the translation teaching mode in line with the characteristics of learners. This paper, based on questionnaire and sample analysis, attempts to make a study of the developmental stages of adult English learners7 translation competence. The study shows that the compre- hension and writing competence affect the learner's translation competence. This paper suggests the "Five Arts" teaching method suits the characteristics and needs of adult English learners, and discusses how to improve the their translation competence as well as comprehension and writing competence.
