| Abstract: | Language is the vehicle of culture and linguistic meaning is the most important part in language expression, which determines the failure or success in communication. This article compares and analyses the associative meaning of animal words in two aspects, that is, its semantic overlap and semantic mismatch, revealing the relevant social and cultural psychology and the importance of associative meaning in language learning. |
