伽达默尔真理观及其实质

伽达默尔将真理视为一个过程，他不再承认真理的唯一性和客观性，而主张真理是各种因素共同作用创造意义的过程。伽达默尔从理解这一概念入手，认为真理是在不断理解的过程中逐步逼近的。因此他认为不存在谁比谁理解得更正确，而只能说每一次和上一次相比又有了新的理解。伽达默尔将真理相对化的做法遭到了来自于诠释学内部传统诠释学维护者的批判。他们认为伽达默尔走入了相对主义的误区，陷入了不可知论的泥潭。但实际上这是对伽达默尔的误解。伽达默尔是要告诉人们人类永远无法洞悉所谓的真相，人所能看到的只是事物的一个方面。人们是在二定的视域背景寻求真理的，必然要受到当时历史条件的制约，得出的真理观念也不具有普遍性。因此真理是无法彻底达到的。伽达默尔真理观的意义在于他摒弃了对真理的独断论观点，提醒人们在科学主义盛行的时代保持一份清醒。而他对“对话”的强调更为未来的世界发展指明了一个方向。

Gadamer's View of Truth and Its Essence

Gadamer looks upon truth as a process,who doesn't admit the uniqueness and objectivity of truth any longer,but advocates that truth is the significance which various factors create.Gadamer starts with the concept "comprehension".He thinks truth is approached step by step in the process of comprehending unceasingly.However,Gadamer's point is criticized by the defenders of traditional hermeneutics inside hermeneutics.They think that Gadamer leads his theory to relativism.However,it's the misunderstanding of Gadamer's view.Gadamer wants to tell people that human beings can't understand truth thoroughly.What the human sees is just an aspect of things.People look for the truth in a certain background,therefore the truth they get isn't universal.The significance of Gadamer's truth theory lies in that he has got rid of the dogmatism viewpoint to truth,and reminded people to keep clear head in science doctrine.Moreover,he has pointed out one way for the future world to develop better.
