基辛格的中国文化理念与对华战略

在美国与中华人民共和国关系历程中 ,基辛格不仅是中美关系正常化的开启者 ,而且是中美关系三十年来稳定发展的维护者。如果说作为中美接近战略的设计者和执行者 ,基辛格更多的从美国外交战略的需要出发 ,那么作为此后三十多年中美友好的提倡者 ,基辛格就很大程度上是从他对中国文化的认知出发。他认为中华文明具有自制特征 ,这与其早年学术生涯中形成的历史哲学理念有相当的契合。本文试图从基辛格的中国文化理念的角度对其三十年来的美国对华战略主张作一全面分析

Kissinger's) Idea of Chinese Culture and American Strategy to China

In the development of Sino-American relations, Henry Kissinger is not only one of the initiators of rapprochement,but also a supporter for steady development of Sino-American relations in the past thirty years. As an architect and executor for the strategy of Sino-American rapprochement, Kissinger paid more attention to American strategic requirements. But as an advocate for good Sino-American relations in the following thirty years, Kissinger bases his standpoint more on his perception of Chinese culture. His viewpoint that Chinese culture is characterized by self-restrain is in line with his historical philosophy. This thesis tries to give a full examination of Kissinger's American strategy to China in the past thirty years from Kissinger's idea of Chinese culture.
