中国现代文学理论的民族性

中国文学理论的民族性与现代性是一个问题的两个方面。在现代化进程中,首先要考虑民族性的问题,要在吸取他者有益成分进行自我改造的同时,从传统和现实中发掘出自己的本质属性。要从文学观念、文学理论发展的历史和与其他民族文学理论平等地交流和共在空间的角度,处理好古今中外各因素的关系,以确立自己的文化身份。其中有三个问题值得我们反思:一是民族性的稳定性和变革性所表现出来的历史轨迹,二是民族性与"中和"观念的关系,三是民族化与全球化语境中个性与共性的关系即自我身份的重建。

Nationality in Modern and Contemporary Chinese Literature

The nationality and modernity in the construction of Chinese literature theory are two sides of a coin.In the process of modernization of Chinese literature theory,nationality must be taken into account.That is,while emphasizing the absorption of the beneficial ingredients from others to promote self-development,we must identify our own essential attributes from traditional and contemporary literature.The establishment of our cultural identity must also take into reconsideration the relationship between Chinese and foreign elements in the context of the historic development of literary theory as well as the equal exchange with foreign literary theories.Three questions merit study:First,the historic path of nationality stability and transformation;Second,the relationship between nationality and central harmony;Third,the relationship between cultural individuality and cultural universalism,namely,the reconstruction of cultural nationality in the context of globalization.
