学术自由与大学发展

学术不彰问题在近年的大学发展中日益凸现并引发人们的高度关注。作为学术机构与不同专业之松散联盟,大学需要以学术自由作为其教学和科研活动的基本准则,为学者探究真理和传授知识提供必要保障。虽然大学自主性由于市场经济的冲击和国家权力意志的介入而受到了较大的影响,但就大学功能的正常发挥和社会的长远发展而言,保障学术的相对自由,构建一种使大学灵活应对社会发展需要的自由办学机制尤为重要。

Academic Freedom and the Development of University

In recent years academic role isn’t so prominent in the development of university,which has given rise to widespread concern.As university is usually regarded as the academic institution and loose alliance which connects different specialties,so academic freedom is used as the basic principle in the teaching and research activities,and provides the essential safeguard when scholars search for truth and pass on knowledge.However,the university autonomy has been greatly undermined due to the impact of the market economy and the involvement of state will to power.Despite of this,in order to highlight the role of the university and promote the long-term development of society,it is vital to ensure the relative academic freedom and build up a free mechanism of university to adapt flexibly to society.
