汉语名词短语分裂移位的生成机制阐释——基于角色参照语法的分析

在角色参照语法理论的基础上,对汉语名词短语分裂移位的生成机制进行了尝试性的阐释,研究发现,分裂移位是在语用交际功能的驱动下焦点结构转化的结果。前移位结构中,话题成分位于句首,需要加以强调的具体信息占据潜在焦点域;后移位结构中,提供背景信息的非核心成分位于句首,核心论元占据句末潜在焦点域。角色参照语法结合了语义和语用观点,对汉语名词短语分裂移位现象具有很强的解释力,为汉语句法研究提供了新思路。

Generative Mechanism of NP's Dividing Movement in Chinese: A Role and Reference Grammar Account

Based on role and reference grammar,we discuss in this paper the generative mechanism of NP’s dividing movement in Chinese.The results indicate focus structure which changes with the pragmatic function of communication generate NP’s dividing movement.For leftward dislocation,the fronted constituent is the topic while the specific information which needs to be emphasized is at potential focus domain;for rightward dislocation,non-core constituent which offers background information is at the front position while core argument is at potential focus domain.The RRG which combines semantics and pragmatics is highly applicable in explaining NP’s dividing movement,offering new inspiration for syntactic research on Chinese.
