| 摘 要： | 构建和谐社会是中国21世纪的重要使命，而社会公正是构建和谐社会的根基，两极分化又与社会公正密切相关。基于社会公正可能导致的两极分化有其正当性和合法性，有利于调动人们的积极主动性，应予以认可并适当调节；对背离社会公正的两极分化要予以消除和根绝。唯有如此，才能有力地务实和谐社会的根基——公正，才能缩小有失公正的两极分化，确保社会充满生机与活力，从而促进社会的发展与和谐。

| Abstract: | Constructing a harmonious society is the important mission of the Chinese in the 21st century, and social fairness is the foundation of harmonious society. Polarization is closely related to social fairness. Polarization that is based on social fairness is justified and may motivate people and therefore should be approved of, while polarization that deviates from social fairness should be eliminated. Only by doing so can the foundation of harmonious society be solidified and will the society be more developed and more vigorous. |
