根据《毛泽东自传》《湖南商业专门学校沿革》和民国初年教育文献及湖南大学校史等材料,结合当年的报纸广告及遗址的现场踏勘,分析、驳议和论证了“湖南公立高等商业学校”是否即为后来的“湖南公立商业专门学校”,从而引出毛泽东曾入读的“高商”确实是湖南大学商科的前身的结论。

Mao Zedong Once Studied Business in Hunan University

This paper verifies that Hunan Provincial Institute of Commerce was later converted into Business School of Hunan and points to an interesting fact that Mao Zedong once studied in Hunan Provincial Institute of Commerce which was a predecessor of the Department of Commerce,Hunan University,in accordance with materials such as A Biography of Mao Zedong,The History of The Business School of Hunan,educational documents of the early Republic of China and History of Hunan University,together with advertisements in newspapers published at that time and inspection of relics of schools above mentioned.
