人的解放及其现代化--20世纪中国文学启蒙主题寻踪

受“危机感”驱使 ,2 0世纪中国文学的启蒙主题大体经历了三个发展阶段 :晚清时期的政治化启蒙、人的解放与民族解放并重的五四启蒙、启蒙与反启蒙语境双重并置的新时期启蒙。其中 ,晚清启蒙因其时限的短暂和主题的尚待深入而被视为五四启蒙的序曲———“前五四”时期。至于新时期启蒙 ,它在承接五四启蒙的理性启悟、人的发现和角色认定等特质基础上 ,亟须做好三方面工作 :一、将理性的偏执与傲慢考虑进去 ,及时吸纳反启蒙的宽容、多元品格 ;二、针对现代化进程中工具理性对人文理性的挤兑 ,要高举“批判”的武器 ;三、要调处好知识分子的拯人与拯己关系

Liberation of human being and their modernization--Tracing the enlightenment topic of 20th century Chinese literature

Enlightenment", a word frequently mentioned whenever we touch upon the very field of 20th century Chinese literature, is a grave topic of rich connotation. Driven by a sense of crisis, the advocators of Chinese enlightenment had go through three stages: first is the political enlightenment at the end of the Qing Dynasty. Transient and lacking depth, it is a prelude to another enlightenment, the enlightenment brought about by the May Yourth Movement, which focuses on human liberation as well as national liberation. The following contemporary enlightenment, inheriting form its predecessors such as maintenance of reason, rationality, individual recognition, features a co-existence of enlightenment thoughts and anti- enlightenment thoughts. But it still needs to be further perfected and this paper concludes with the three aspects that contemporary enlightenment must be alert to: first, absorbing from anti- enlightenment the very feature of liberalism and multi-element to balance the radicalism in enlightenment; second criticizing the dominance of material enlightenment over human enlightenment in our process of modernization, and last, an intellect must pay equal attention to "saving the world" and "saving himself".
