Viewing the Cultural Differences between China and the West by Colors of Yellow and Blue

In Chinese culture,yellow color is the symbol of sovereignty,whereas in Western culture the noble color is blue(or purple).Such cultural phenomenon is not an unrelated existence.From geographic significance,the different cultural connotations in color are closely correlated with natural environments.Yellow and blue represent two different cultural temperaments and cultural psychological status respectively,reflecting two different modes of thinking and feelings.From the significance of human ethology,there are also cultural connotations in colors.
