语言的交际功能是靠语音来实现的.外国留学生学习汉语时,首先遇到的是语音问题:音发不准,辨不清,声调高低升降不到位,四声变化不合理.依据留学生在汉语语音学习中的特点和难点,编写适合初、中、高不同等级和长短期不同班次的试用教材,运用行之有效的训练方法,建构具有一定特色的汉语语音教学模式,既可为学生学习专业知识和技能打下良好的语言基础,同时也可使学生的汉语普通话说得更加标准和规范.
