从功能翻译理论的角度论《红楼梦》典故的翻译——杨译本与霍译本对比研究

从功能翻译理论的角度对中国古典文学名著《红楼梦》的两个英译本(杨宪益、戴乃迭译本和霍克斯译本)中的典故翻译进行研究，对比和分析杨译本和霍译本对于典故所采取的不同翻译策略和方法。通过研究表明，两个译本体现了翻译目的对翻译策略的影响，不同的翻译目的决定了译者采取不同的翻译策略和翻译原则。

Studies on Allusion Translation of Red Mansions---Contrastive Study of the Yangs' and Hawkes' Versions

This paper focuses on the different translation strategies and methods employed by the Yangs and Hawkes respectively to render allusions of from the perspective of the functionalist translation theory. The conclusion highlights the effect of translation Skopos on translation strategies. Both translators of Red Mansions cope with their translation from their own Skoposi(purposes). In other words, different translation Skoposi determine different translation strategies and principles.
