经济结构、城市结构与中国城市化发展

城市化是经济发展水平及其结构等内在因素的外在表现 ,孤立从某个或某些侧面来评价和判断中国城市化发展滞后是没有多大实质意义 ,甚至有可能误导我们的城市化发展战略。推进中国城市化的发展 ,决不像许多人想象的那样 ,只要废除户籍制度、放开城门即可。而是需要我们从经济结构和城市结构等方面入手实实在在地推动城市化发展

Economic Structure, City Structure and Urbanization in China

Zhong Shuiying and Li Jing,Population Research Institute, Wuhan University.The level of urbanization reflects the level and structure of economic development. From this point, it is meaningless, even harmful, to discuss the so-called stagnant development of urbanization only from certain aspects of economic development, which may lead to an improper urbanization development strategy. To push the urbanization process, we need some efforts besides the reform of registration system, that is to improve our economic structure and city structure.
