| 摘 要： | 埃德蒙·罗斯柴尔德是罗斯柴尔德家族法国分支成员。他于19世纪80年代初开始在巴勒斯坦建立犹太定居点,帮助遭受沙俄迫害的东欧犹太难民移居巴勒斯坦。埃德蒙在与复国主义思想家的交往中逐渐认同犹太复国主义运动,他在一战爆发后积极活动,推动了《贝尔福宣言》的发表。在他的带动下,他的儿子詹姆斯以及儿媳多萝西也对犹太复国主义运动作出了突出贡献。

| Abstract: | Edmond de Rothchild was a member of the French Rothschilds.At the beginning of the 1880s,he set up Jewish settlements in Palestine to help East European Jewish refugees immigrate to Palestine.With the contact of the zionists,Edmond gradually approved zionism.He promoted the Balfour Declaration after the outbreak of the First World War.His son James and daughter-in-law Dorothy also played an important role in the development of zionism. |
