| 摘 要： | 至元二十五年正月,奉忽必烈之旨,杨琏真伽召集江南禅、教代表在燕京(今北京)辩论。本文对此次廷诤进行了疏理,认为参加辩论的禅宗方面主要是临济宗僧人,而教派方面是天台宗、慈恩宗僧人。廷诤的导火索是禅教两派对寺院所有权的争夺。忽必烈利用了此次廷诤,打压禅宗,达到各派平衡的目的。

| Abstract: | In the first lunar month of Zhiyuan 25th year,with the royal order of Kublai Khan,priest Yang held a debate in Yanjing.One side of participants was the ling-ji priest,another side was the Tiantai sect priest and Ci-en priest.The cause of the debate was the fight for the control of the temple property.Through the debate,Kublai Khan suppressed Zen and balanced each school of influence. |
