摘    要:信、达、雅之争和直译、意译之争是中国佛经翻译史上的文、质之争的延续.面对这场翻译标准的争论,不应各执一端.对于文质之争、信达雅之争、直译与意译之争,它们的本质并不是矛盾的,而应该是互补的.对此辜正坤先生提出的"多元互补论"就是很好的立意,有益于正确认识我国翻译史上一脉相承的翻译标准的争论.

Abstract:In China,debates among faithfulness,coherence and elegance and between literal translation and liberal one derive from disputes between content and nature in history of translation .It is not essentially contradictory.but complementary to arguments between content and nature,faithfulnees,coherence and elegance,Therefore,professor Gu Zhengshen brings forward innovatively monifold complementary theory beneficial to understand further continuous discussions upon standated of translation in the Chinese History of translation.
