巴塞尔姆的《白雪公主》这篇小说是一篇典型的后现代解构文本 ,他通过戏仿格林童话的方式 ,对其进行了解构与颠覆。整个小说是一篇拼贴与杂凑 ,并采用了像电影镜头拼接的手法 ,造成一种强烈的喜剧效果 ;小说的语言具有一种自我讨论和自我指涉 ,构成一种对小说虚构的消解 ,同时作品还把解构和颠覆的矛头指向了语言本身 ;而这一切和小说中对格林童话中人物的戏仿联系在一起 ,完成了它的三个层面的解构 :一是对格林童话的解构 ;二是对传统价值标准的解构 ;三是对语言自身的解构

White Snow and the post- modern deconstruction

White Snow by Donald Barthelm (1931-1989) is a typical post-modern text, in which the author deconstructs and topples the Grimm Brothers' Tales by parody. The entire story is a scrambled mixture, its montage like organization bringing about a highly comic effect. The language is featured by self-discussion and reference that constitute a dissolution of the fiction and meanwhile becomes the object of the deconstruction and toppling. Combined with the parody of the Grimm characters, these have formed its deconstruction at three levels, i.e. that of the Grimm Stories, of the traditional values, and of language itself.
