| Abstract: | The School of Suo-Yin has gone through four stages of development in its study of the Dream of the Red Chamber. The first stage sees the formation of its concepts and methods; and the second witnesses the first peak of development. The school is dominated by its overseas contingent during the third period and it turns more pluralistic in the fourth period. |
