On the style of modern educationist Yang Xianjiang's research

Yang Xianjiang is one of Chinese early modern educationists. In his research, he emphasized the basic position of education practice, studied and absorbed advanced foreign educational theories, took psychology as one of important theoretical basis, and paid much attention to those new-fashioned quantitative research methods such as experimentation, investigation and so on. Thus he developed his own research style, which enabled him to achieve a lot in educational research and laid a solid foundation for the Chinese modern educational theory system.
