中美高校学生日常教育管理制度研究——以西南石油大学和宾夕法尼亚大学为对比

我国高校学生日常教育管理制度发展至今取得了一定的成就,然而也存在不少问题,限制性条款过多,管理制度不够详实和量化,制度设计立场不平等,自由裁量权过大。通过比较中国西南石油大学和美国宾夕法尼亚大学的高校学生日常教育管理制度,西南石油大学的学生日常教育管理制度重视道德教育,坚持从严治校,而宾夕法尼亚大学的学生日常教育管理制度侧重引导学生,具有完善的配套法律体系,运作方式个性化和多样化。借鉴美国高校的经验,我国高校学生日常教育管理制度应该努力做到落实"依法治校"、致力于"学生发展"和重视"引导作用",以促进大学生的全面发展。

A Comparative Research on Educational Management System between Chinese and American Universities ---Exemplification with Southwest Petroleum University and University of Pennsylvania

Despite some achievements, the educational management system in Chinese universities is confronted with a lot of prob Ictus, including an excess of restrictive regu!.ations, ambiguities of management regulations, ignorance of the request of students, and unconfined discretional power of the senior management. The results of this comparative research show that the educational manage- ment system in Southwest Petroleum University focuses on moral education with a strong control over students, while University of Pennsylvania emphasizes the application of instructive methods diversified according to the personalities of students within a well-de veloped supplementary legal system, indicating that Chinese universities should accelerate the comprehensive development of students by performing daily management work in accordance with the laws and reinforcing students-centered conductive education.
