Multinational merger has played a promoting role in world economic globalization.At the same time,it has brought good fortune and challenge to China,which works for reforming and opening up to the outside world and blends in world economic system with great efforts.Since China's entry into the WTO,merger has become a new trend of foreign investment in China.Foreign capital merger has brought fund,technologies and advanced management.Meanwhile,some potential problems have also ensued such as draining state assets,unemployment,excessive-dependence on foreign capital.It will exert great influence especially in the aspect of using the strategy of foreign capital.Foreign merger policy should be made more transparent and practical and merger process be monitored more carefully.We should pay more attention to multinational merger,meet challenge actively and grasp good fortune to put forward corresponding countermeasure.Taking the equipment manufacture for example.The author discusses the problems we meet in the multinational merger of equipment manufacture in China and tries to give some advice.
