合作学习在外语教学中的应用

摘    要:合作学习是起源于美国、目前在世界许多国家推广的一种以学习者为中心的教学方法。合作学习中不同水平的学习者以小组为单位为共同的学习目的共同努力、相互促进、共同提高。研究表明,合作学习既适合任何学习者群体,也适合任何学习科目的学习。作者探讨了合作学习在外语教学中的应用。全文分三部分。第一部分为合作学习简介,第二部分分析合作学习应用于外语教学的理论基础,第三部分为适合外语课堂的合作学习方法介绍。

Abstract:Cooperative learning is a learner- centered teaching methodology. It originated in the United States and is now widespread in many countries in the world. In cooperative learning, learners work in small groups for a shared learning goal in which they promote each other's learning and at the same time each member becomes a stronger individual in his or her right. Research indicates that cooperative learning is effective for any learner types and any subject areas. This article discusses the application of cooperative learning in foreign language classroom. It consists of three parts. The first part is an introduction to cooperative learning. The second part analyses the theoretical bases of using cooperative learning in foreign language teaching, while the last part provides some cooperative learning methods fit for foreign language classroom.
