韵律:语言属性、诗性还是音乐性

节奏、韵、平仄等韵律要素构成的诗学效果,中西文艺理论通常称为"音乐性".但细考发现,节奏是一种早于音乐、诗歌的自然或生命属性,音乐进一步改造成更鲜明、精确的"音乐节奏";语言则通过语音组合构成不完全"等时"的"语言节奏"或诗歌节奏,它与"音乐节奏"并不等同.韵、平仄则原本就是语言的属性,也是作为语言艺术的文学尤其是诗歌的特性:不同国家诗韵的差异只与该国语言有关,而与该国音乐的差异无关.这一性质认定意味着,"废韵律"失去的不是"音乐性",而是"诗性".
