戴东原二百年生日纪念活动钩沉

民国十二年至十四年（1923．1925）之间，北平学界曾经掀起过一场纪念清代学者戴东原二百年生日的活动。-动以民国十三年（1924）一月十九日于北京召开的生日纪念会为重心，一时间东原研究俨然成为学界热门。纪念活动中展开的东原研究，其最可注意者在于对东原“哲学思想”与“科学精神”的注重，并因此成为现代学术史上戴东原形象重塑的重要环节，亦可视作当时学者于本国传统学术中发掘现代性因素的典型个案。

ACTIVITIES FOR COMMEMORATING DAI DONGYUAN ON HIS 200 YEARS BIRTHDAY

From 1923 to 1925 in early Republic of China, Beiping's academe initiated a series of activities for commemorating Dai Dongyuan, who was a great scholar and thinker in the Qing Dynasty. Among those activities, the most important one is the birthday commemoration on 19th Jan in 1924. The party boosted the study on Dai which ended with a lot of papers. What made the study different was the focus on Dai's philosophic thinking and scientific spirit. Therefore, the study was a milestone of the modern research about Dai and also a sample illuminating how native scholar made effort to discover modernity from traditional academic culture.
