社会主义核心价值及其体系是社会主义意识形态的本质体现，学者们对其进行了广泛的研究，但对社会主义核心价值概念的明硗定义、其具体内涵的清晰界定却鲜有研究。社会主义核心价值是指社会主义社会以自己特有的制度、体制、结构和功能对人们最根本的、最重要的偏好与需要的积极意义和肯定作用，在所有的社会主义价值中，它处于支配和统摄地位，是最基本、最重要的价值。
