英汉思维差异在字词中的表现及翻译教学对策

摘    要:语言和思维是密不可分的统一体,两者相互影响,相互作用,互为表征,语言是思维的外在化。不同的语言体现了不同的思维模式。字词作为语言的最小语义单位,必然打上思维模式的烙印。研究英汉思维差异在字词中的表现,针对学生在翻译练习中出现的问题,有意识地促使学习者思维模式的转变,无疑将有助于提高学生语言产出能力和翻译教学水平。

Abstract:Thinking and language are closely interrelated. They influence each other and reflect each other. Different thinking patterns find their reflection in different languages correspondingly. This paper discusses such reflection on the vocabulary level between Chinese and English and tries to give some suggestions about translation teaching so as to help the students in their realization of transformation in thinking patterns.
