英语口试个案分析及其对英语教学的启示

摘    要:阐述了<大学英语教学大纲>[修订版]对大学生口语能力的基本要求,通过对英语教师和在校大学生英语口语水平的问卷调查,得出大学生口语能力与教学大纲要求存在一定差距的结论.设计、开发了英语四级学业口试,分析了口试结果,说明了产生差距的原因和大学生口语表达中存在的问题.提出提高大学生口语能力的措施:即在英语精读、泛读和听力教学中导入口语训练、加强学生的语言基本功和提高学生的思维能力.

Abstract:A survey of students' oral English ability and relevant achievement test were designed and conducted to check whether university students meet the basic requirements of speech as specified in the College English Teaching Syllabus. The results showed that teachers should take some necessary measures against the weaknesses revealed, such as to introduce oral training in intensive/extensive reading and listening, to strengthen basic competence in linguistic expression and to cultivate and improve students' logic in oral English.
