论晚明江南穆斯林学者的文化纷争--从王岱舆《正教真诠》批评的《证主默解》说起

明末著名伊斯兰教汉文译著家王岱舆在《正教真诠》中批评了当时一些教内人的汉文伊斯兰教著述,提到了《证主默解》一书,并引述、批驳了其中的部分言辞。现代的研究者大多认为《证主默解》一书已佚,但通过对《正教真诠》中引述的话和现存明末汉文伊斯兰教著述的比较,可以发现王岱舆所批评的《证主默解》即另一位著名伊斯兰教经师张中所撰的《克里默解》。从而,我们可以看到明末江南地区伊斯兰教汉文译著运动兴起时穆斯林学者之间的分歧和论争,而纷争在很大程度上与穆斯林学者对待汉文化的不同态度有关。

A Discussion of the Cultural Dispute among Muslim Scholars of the Regions South of the Yangtze River in Late Period of the Ming Dynasty--A Discourse of Stilly Explanation of Kalima (S)ah(a)da Criticized by Wang Daiyu in his The Real Commentary on the True

Having a good command of Chinese language, Wang Daiyu, a famous Islamic writer of the regions south of the Yangtze River in late period of the Ming Dynasty, criticized several Islamic books (written in Chinese) in his The Real Commentary on the True Teaching. One of these books is Stilly Explanation of Kalima Sahada. Modern scholars most probably agree that this book has been lost. But, in all probability, it is safe to say that this book is Zhang Zhong's Explanation of Kalima, which is based on the comparison of some sentences in Stilly Explanation of Kalima Sahada cited by Wang Daiyu and other Islamic books written in Chinese. Thus, it is evident that a cultural dispute existed there among Muslim scholars of the regions south of the Yangtze River in late Ming Dynasty. And the dispute is mainly a result of the different attitudes of Muslim scholars to Han cultures.
