| 摘 要： | 艾略特·卡特不仅是著名器乐作曲家，而且是出色的合唱指挥和合唱音乐大师。不容忽略的史实是，1948年之前他的大部分作品是合唱音乐，在合唱音乐的创作中，他在传承的基础上不断创新，形成特色。本文通过探讨其代表性合唱作品的创作特色，展现卡特合唱音乐多样的44作手法和炫目的艺术风采。
